Funeral Ceremonies

A funeral is a time to acknowledge and reflect on the death of a loved one by honouring their lives, sharing memories and offering comfort as you say your final farewells.
"Celebrate your loved one in a warm and fitting tribute to their life."

Celebrating the life of a loved one

Although it’s a sad time, it can also be a time for family and friends to celebrate the life of their loved one who has passed away. This can be done by commemorating the amazing impact they had on their own lives and by having a funeral ceremony that’s fitting to their personality.

You can choose where the ceremony will be held, whether a traditional funeral ceremony in a crematorium or burial ground or an alternative style of ceremony at a natural burial ground or another venue.

I will arrange to meet with you so that we can discuss the type of funeral service you require and, importantly, find out about the life of the loved one who has died. By doing so, I can prepare a meaningful, personalised script depicting their lives and the contribution they made to their family and all those who knew them.

What is the process of a funeral ceremony?

Preparing a Bespoke Script

Following a meeting, an initial draft of the script will be sent to the family for them to review so that any amendments can be made and the final script can be approved for reading at the ceremony.

Including Personal Touches

We can also discuss other aspects of the funeral service and help with the selection of music, poems and readings that you may wish to be included, as well as any other personal tributes.

Conducting the Funeral Ceremony

On the day of the ceremony, I will liaise with the Funeral Director and meet you, family, and friends of your loved one at the chosen venue and conduct the funeral service.

How much does a funeral ceremony cost?

A single slot crematorium funeral: £250

A double slot crematorium funeral: £400

Additional £50 for burial taking place in addition to a funeral service

Alternative venue, celebration of life from £450
